ACCOMMODATION

All participants have been booked a single room for the nights of 30th June and 1st July at the Royal Cambridge Hotel (directions). This hotel is located right opposite the Engineering Department and parking is available at the hotel for guests. The organisers will cover the accommodation costs for invitees.

TRAVEL

  • Airports
    Stansted Airport is the nearest to Cambridge. Jetlink bus nos. 717 & 797 every hour. Journey time approx. 50 mins. There are also direct trains every hour, with a journey time of approximately 37 mins.
    Heathrow Airport is the largest international airport in the UK. Regular Jetlink or National Express buses to Cambridge every hour. Journey time approx. 2 hrs 10 mins. Trains usually involve at least one changeover in London, with total journey times of between 2 to 2.5 hours.
    Gatwick Airport is the second largest international airport in the UK. Regular Jetlink or National Express buses to Cambridge every hour. Journey time approx. 3 hrs 30 mins. Trains can involve up to two changeovers, via London, with total journey times of between 2 to 2.5 hours.
