Improving Lorries

CUED
This presentation will describe research in CUED to improve the safety, environmental impact and productivity of
heavy goods vehicles. The focus will be on improvements to suspension design and control. A number of new
technologies will be described. These include systems for improving roll, ride, cornering handling and braking
performance. The work has been performed over a number of years, in collaboration with a consortium of
industrial partners.
