Materials and the processes used to shape them inevitably have an impact on the environment. This project extends the scope of the Cambridge Materials Selector and the Cambridge Process Selector to include attributes such as energy consumption, carbon dioxide output and the toxic wastes associated with materials and processes.

The Cambridge Process Selector is produced by Granta Design, who also produce materials selection software - the Cambridge Materials Selector (CMS).
