The Consortium Partners: MS Composites


Since 1976, MS Composites has obtained its experience and know-how in the field of adapting hi-tech composite materials for multiple applications. From design to the finished product, MS Composites and its teams of experts have at their disposal all modern facilities. MS Composites have the facility to manufacture components, essentially in carbon fibres, using a number of processes:
  • Autoclave moulding
  • Filament winding
  • Press moulding
  • RTM
  • Machining with mailing machine 5 axis
  • Finishing in painting

Areas of research and development include:
  • Race automotive (Formula One)
  • Medical X-ray applications (cardiac table, mammography cassettes)
  • Defence
  • Robotic and industry

In the HYMM project, MS Composites role is the research and development of smart composite structures.
