The Consortium Partners: FATRONIK

FATRONIK is a technology center, providing research and development services to industry. Since 1989, Fatronik is improving existing products and devising new solutions for its customers, most of them small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Fatronik is tackling activities in the fields of: conception, analysis, design of machines, research of mechanical components, techniques to improve machine behaviour, with a special dedication in the field of "mechatronics" developing new measurement, drive and control technologies. Fatronik is active in European research, taking part and leading many projects in diverse programs.

Fatronik's main skills are related to the integrated design of artefacts (machines, manufacturing systems, systems for renewable energy generation ...) where both mechanical and control aspects are necessary, thus providing systems with a controlled dynamic behaviour. Fatronik has a good deal of experience in light structure design, so its contribution is essential to support machine tool builder during the development of their ultra-light machine prototypes

In the HYMM project, Fatronik's role is research and technological development and demonstration in mechatronic simulation and light structure design.
